Psychology students often graduate with strong theoretical knowledge but limited opportunities to practice foundational helping skills in structured environments. Skills such as active listening, reflection, ethical decision-making, documentation, and professional communication are best developed through experience.
PRISM was created to bridge this gap by helping students move beyond learning psychology to beginning to apply it responsibly and confidently.
About PRISM
What it is:

Structure -

Foundation Learning Phase
Psychology students (interns) undergo 8 hours of structured online learning focused on counselling foundations, active listening, helping relationships, ethics, documentation, and professional readiness.

Application & Practice Phase
Interns participate in guided activities, case discussions, reflection circles, role plays, and practical assignments designed to help them apply psychological concepts in a safe and supervised learning environment.

Reflection & Project Phase
Interns work with facilitators to review learning, document observations, complete a guided project, and submit structured reflections and learning insights.
